As a founder of Beyond Words, Erin is passionate about bringing music and dance to children of any ability. She specializes in behavior management, sensory integration and positive reinforcement techniques. Erin obtained her Bachelors of Music Therapy (BMT) at Eastern Michigan University with a major in Dance Performance. Erin holds the music therapy license (License number MUS.24000137) and the credential MT-BC (Certification #08647). Prior to Beyond Words, she was a music therapist at The Music Settlement, then found her niche for neurodiverse children and behavior management at Steps Academy (formerly STEPS Center for Autism). Currently, Miss Erin sees students are our studio in North Royalton and travels offsite to conduct group music therapy at Fairview Park School District.

MARY ZUPAN

LICENSED PROFESSIONAL MUSIC THERAPIST (LPMT)
Mary completed her Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy at Cleveland State University. During her education and practicum classes, she worked with a variety of populations and ages. She completed her internship at Birch Bay Retirement Village. Mary holds the music therapy license (License number MUS.24000185) and the credential MT-BC (Certification #17264). Currently, Miss Mary sees students are our studio in North Royalton and travels offsite to conduct individual and group music therapy at Warrensville Development Center, Boundless, Regina Health Center and Garfield Heights School District.

Julia completed her Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy at Cleveland State University. During her education and practicum classes, she worked with a variety of populations and ages. Currently, Miss Julia sees students are our studios in North Royalton and Warrensville Heights, as well as travels offsite to conduct group music therapy at Brecksville-Broadview Heights School District and St. Columbkille School.

Julie completed her Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy at Ohio University. Prior to Beyond Words, she worked for nine years at a charter school in Cleveland that specializes educational services to neurodiverse students. Julie holds the music therapy license (License number MUS.24000037) and the credential MT-BC (Certification #11425). Currently, Miss Julie sees students are our studios in North Royalton and Warrensville Heights, as well as travels offsite to conduct group music therapy at Garfield Heights School District, New Heights ABA, Cleveland Sight Center Preschool, Communion of Saints School and Hobbits Preschool.

Currently, Miss Courtney sees students are our studio in North Royalton and conducts group music therapy at Barberton City School District and Albert Einstein Academy.

MELAINA McCONNELL
ADAPTED DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Melaina began her ballet training at the age of 4 with the School of Cleveland San Jose Ballet and also studied modern and contemporary dance. At the age of 16, she joined Dancing Wheels, as the youngest Trainee in their history. She quickly rose through the ranks to become their Principle Dancer and later served as an Instructor and School Administrator for the School of Dancing Wheels, where she conducted weekly dance classes, workshops, master classes and summer camps nationally for students with and without disabilities. Currently, Miss Melaina sees students are our studio in North Royalton and conducts classes at Boundless in Medina.

DELANEY BAUMANN
ADAPTED DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Delaney has spent 19+ years training in dance all around Northeast Ohio. Delaney began teaching dance classes at 16 years old and has been teaching ever since. She spent three summers working at Camp Christopher, where she was a counselor for campers of all ages and ability levels. Currently, Miss Delaney teaches classes at our studio in North Royalton.

Courtney completed her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Art Therapy and minors in Psychology and Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University. She completed her Master of Science in Art Therapy with a concentration in counseling at Mount Mary University. Prior to Beyond Words, she worked for nine years at a charter school in Cleveland that specializes educational services to neurodiverse students. Courtney holds the art therapy license (License number ART.24000027). Currently, Miss Courtney sees students are our studio in North Royalton and travels offsite to conduct group art therapy at St. Columbkille School and Brecksville-Broadview Heights School District.
